If I could give your no stars I would. On the 23rd of April I purchased over £250 worth of items on line due to the store in chesterfield ( 5 minutes from my house) being completely empty of anything I required. The delivery is 5/7 days( not working days) so should of received no later than the 30th.On the 30th received a message to say they have be dispatched and will be with me in 48hours from the email. We was going on our first caravaning holiday on the 4th, the parcel didn’t arrive. So had to go out to purchase this items elsewhere. To cut a long story short and several telephone calls I’ve still not received my money back. Apparently I will get my money back within 4 days of them receiving the items back from DHL!!!This is poor poor service!!!

The items I ordered arrived quickly but packaging was in poor condition & was covered in information about what was inside, not ideal for this time of year as it is a surprise gift for my partner.

I purchased a pair of royal scot wellies which after very little use one of them split letting in water.
I contacted go Outdoors and was told to take it to a store to be inspected. I took it to the Stocksbridge store and the assistant, Lucy confirmed that the Wellington was faulty.
Then to my surprise she told me to take the Wellington away and dry out the neoprene lining as it was a health and safety issue, then I was to take it to the Sheffield branch some 12 miles away.
When I told her that I was not prepared to do this she told me that there was nothing else she could do for me then.
I got back to Go Outdoors and they put me in touch with the appropriate department who just passed me from one person to another vie emails and phone calls which was a waste of time, going on for over a month.
I've tried to voice my disappointment with the store and product on their reviews but they have just disregarded them and won't let me comment.
This is why I placed my review on here hopefully preventing other people having the same experience as myself.

When my order arrived there was an item missing despite it being on the delivery note. I contacted go outdoors via email the same evening it was received and I've been told I have to complete a form and it will be investigated. I wanted this item for next week but its obviously not going to be sorted by then!

This is the first time I have used the online facility and my order consisted of 2 expensive coats. Initially having been informed of the delivery of part of the order I received a ‘camping shower’ which obviously had not been ordered. Unannounced the following day I received one of the coats but the only problem was that a security tag was still attached. I was advised by customer services to either return both items or attend one of their stores to have the tag removed. I elected the second option although at my expense as I did not want to wait any longer for a replacement coat. The second coat arrived six days later. This proves to me that for peace of mind buy from the actual store and not use the poor online service

Visited Exeter go outdoors to purchase a bike and given a brilliant service. The cycle department (Alex) went above and beyond I highly recommendvisiting this store .

I ordered online 2 Gilets, 1 for boy age 7-8 and one in mens medium. I had an email to say my order was ready for collection from my nominated branch at Kidderminster, Worcs. On arrival only the boys gilet had arrived and on the invoice stated that both had been cancelled!! Very strange! I was told the mens gilet would arrive at a later date! To cut a long story short after phoning the store for confirmation of the order a member of staff did sort out the order and I collected the remaining item from the store. I do not live close to the store so this was very inconvenient, costly in my time and fuel! In all fairness the staff at the shop did try to help, it appears that they are having problems with orders online, about time they got their act together whoever it is that sorts the online orders! Situations like this put you off future online orders, they have been in business long enough to have this situation sorted, maybe the staff who deal with online are working from home, though there is no excuse for inefficiency.

The online ordering process was absolutely fine and the delivery to store quick. It seems to me that the collection process would benefit from a little more structure. Every package in quite a big cupboard had to be examined individually to see if it was mine! It was a little frustrating (for me and the rest of the queue) to see the same parcels being looked at again and again! As usually happens, I got text messages to say my parcel was ready to collect for days after I actually picked it up!

Happy with item and arrived quickly, but still has the security tag on so need to go in store to remove it.

Got sold a gas can first time purchasing, didn’t know we needed the connector. Would of thought as we were getting guidance within the shop that this would of been explained. Not go out doors fault, but better customer service could of been given.

Ordererd 2 items via Click and Collect , follow up information very good . Arrived at shop only to find one of the items was out of stock , Sales assistant told me I will have been informed .I was not . Wasted journey.

The Poole store had what we wanted went to checkout and waited 15 mins to get served, were not impressed.

Whilst the salesperson in the shoe department was helpful and provided good advice, the additional 10% reduction was not applied at the till. This was only noticed after we had left the store and had to return for the price to be adjusted.I would have expected this reduction to be applied automatically, or at least for the staff to be aware and to apply at point of sale.Suspect a number of customers probably ended up paying more than they needed to.
